The tiger's eye sunflower has a very distinct dark center, and yellow petals.

The sunshine sunflower is one of the 10 varieties I grew this year. I ordered a whole variety package from SeedsofChange.com, and all but the mexican variety came up strong.

This type of amaranth was used by the Hopi Indian tribe as a red dye. I feel they provide a nice contrast to all of the greens in my garden.

This clematis in full bloom decorates the side of my front porch. It eventually became the background pattern for my website.
